Ahhhh, the move is finally over and we are mostly unpacked. We moved from a neighborhood in Windsor, Vermont to a more rural piece of land in Springfield, Vermont. It's only 15 miles but what a difference it makes! I wake up to the birds and go to sleep with the crickets chirping!
the house we bought has beautiful gardens already established as well as a blueberry patch, blackberries, 2 cherry trees, 3 grapes vines, strawberries and an established asparagus patch!
the 3 peony bushes are blooming now as well as some stunning iris.
One of the best parts of this new place is that I am finally (after 10 years) out of the dungeon to a beautifully sunlit studio!
There are no streetlights so when it gets dark, the stars are pretty fabulous. There aren't any houses around so the only neighbor we've seen is a horse who comes up in the evening to say hello.
All in all we are feeling very blessed.
